Maserati Trofeo Event (Virginia International Raceway) August 2015

Summer of 2015 was an amazing time in my life. I finally received my first credentials to cover a racing event for a dream brand… MASERATI. This was something I dreamt of ever since the first time I picked up a camera. It didn't have to be for Maserati; it could have been for anyone willing to cut a check for me to step foot on a racetrack, just holding a camera. For me, it was a dream come true; and for it to be with a brand of this caliber, that was just icing on the cake. But, I will say, after the excitement wore off, the nervousness kicked in… can’t lie about that one. I barely slept the night before the event. After the shot list came through, I knew it was going to be a tough job. It was time to buckle down. The only thing I would have changed about that day, was wearing something a bit cooler. It was a 90+ degree day and walked over 12 miles in 10 hours; I was exhausted to say the least. Overall, the event went flawlessly and I was really happy with the photos I was able to produce. Hopefully, 2016 will be filled with more jobs for me... just like this one.
